Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)

The training experience

Step in and practice locking out hazardous energy the right way. The training begins with the work permit checklist and access to the lockout station using the master key. Then you will prepare and turn off the electric pump, check that it is off and start the lockout tagout process. Following the diagram and the signs on the pipes, you will move around the building, locking and checking the pressure in the pipes until the required portion of the pipe is safely locked and tagged out. Finally, you will return and lock all keys to the lockout station and give the master key to your supervisor.
