Master the fundamentals of well control in a fully immersive VR environment set on a Middle East land rig. This module trains you to detect and respond to a kick from first warning to final kill. You'll establish your baseline at the driller's console, then recognize the early signs of an influx—pit gain, drilling breaks, and gas-cut returns—verifying each with a flow check before acting. Progressing through a hard shut-in in the correct sequence, you'll record shut-in pressures on the kill sheet and circulate the influx out using both the Driller's Method and the Wait-and-Weight Method, following the pressure step-down schedule stroke by stroke. Finally, you'll take the supervisor's seat to keep the hole full against a thief zone and apply the divert-versus-shut-in decision when shallow gas is encountered. Ten scenarios build one discipline: prove the well before you trust it.
